“ This place is as authentic as you can find in Los Angeles! I feel like I'm back in Peru enjoying home cooked excellence from my family kitchen. You will not regret dining here. Every dish is perfect. The restaurant itself is not fancy, but it's clean & comfortable & "real". I've been coming here for decades. Same familiar faces. Don't miss it! Jessyca Nygren ”
“ It's great, one of my favorite lunch places. The lomo saltado is awesome and the sauces are great. Service is good and fast. ”
“ Food freshly made. Great service with a welcoming greeting from the server to the cashier. Ambiance clean and cozy with enough room between tables. ”
“ Great food. First time having this and was pretty good than the usual Peruvian place I go to. I got the lomo saltado and the beef was tender and soft. I also go the one with the noodles and they were delicious. Good customer service. Order was quick ”
“ This place was so delicious. I ordered ceviche and it was very good. I love the fact that they put a sweet potato in the ceviche very good. The service was very good and a very, just a very quaint little place on Van Nuys Blvd. I highly recommend this place if you're in the mood for ceviche or any other thing on the menu Can't wait to go back ”
“ Machu-Picchu has slowly become of my favorite Peruvian spots in the valley. Let me start off by getting something off my chest that might hurt some feelings. Here it goes.... PERUVIAN FOOD is the best food in the world!!! Don't at me! Matter fact I'll run the fade for this. Just kidding I don't believe in violence, but we can settle this in Mario Kart. The restaurant is low key and parking lot can be confusing to find , but when you do you'll get it. The vibe is very relaxed somewhat authentic as far as how simple it is. Service depends on how many people are there, but overall they are attentive. They start you off with some dinner rolls and some sauces. Them sauces though!!! They make me want to sing Ashanti "Happy" and scream "My love, here to stay, won't ever leave...". And i truly feel that way. There's so many options on the menu but my go to is Lomo Saltado , Ceviche de pescado , and a side of Yuka a la huancaina. This combo will never fail you. This combination is like the Avengers of combination, even without Chris Evans. Low key I love Anthony Mackie but cmon Marvel!!! Y'all let me down. However Machu Picchu won't! Shoutout my Peruvians. Slides me some of them leaves for my tea if you see me though. Wink wink ** -Sir Charles Yelpington. ”
“ I love trying new places around my neighborhood. This place did not disappoint. Food was amazing. Service was ok. She wasn't rude or anything but she didn't check in nor did he refill our cups with waters. I got the machu pichu Salgado and it was a 10/10. Would come again forsure. ”
“ This is by far my fav Peruvian restaurant! They make the best chicken chaufa with amazing wok char- this is my fav fried rice and it tops all the Asian places I've tried. We come here often and love everything we've tried, from the steak plate to the tamale, and the fried platter and ceviche. Make sure to get the onions! Service is friendly and it's a cozy simple environment. Metered parking out front and a small lot in the back. ”
“ Parking for Machu Picchu was fairly easy on the street, and if you come after 6pm, you may even find free street parking! The inside was fairly quiet for a Wednesday evening, but the food did not disappoint! The staff were also extremely patient, since my friend and I weren't active speakers of Spanish. They started us with some bread and salsa; the salsa was new to me, but that green one slapped! We with the Papas a la Huancaina, and it exceeded my originally low expectations. (It's potatoes and cheese, a little hard to get excited over.) The potatoes were boiled to softness, and the cheese sauce, what's their secret? It was not super salty and packed quite a nice kick. If nachos were paired with these, the entire party bag will be gone! For dinner, I felt adventurous and had their Bistec a la Chorrillana. Everything was perfect as could be; the beef was juicy, tomatoes sweet, onions crisp - even the rice was fully finished! I looked over at my friend's Lomo Saltado... gone! The restaurant overall doesn't boast a large staff, but it's clear how attentive they are to all guests regardless of background. Paying may take a bit, so I recommend walking it up if in a rush. Overall a nice spot for a sit-down meal - will definitely be returning! ”
“ The food was very tasty , the ceviche was fresh, and the Chinese noodles were delicious. The service was attentive, and the restaurant was very clean. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely stop by. ”
